The “Guilt Free” Pizza

 
Let’s face it, we all enjoy pizza, but sometimes we don’t want all grease and calories that can sometimes come with it. I made this for dinner the other night, and it was not only delicious, but I didn’t feel guilty eating it!

So, to whom ever invented the “Margherita Pizza”, thank you.

This is my version, and I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients:

1 Boboli Whole Wheat Pizza Crust*

1 packet Boboli Pizza Sauce

2 Roma Tomatos, sliced

Tillamook Shredded Mozzarealla 

Spice Islands Sweet Basil 

Directions:

Spread the sauce over the pizza crust. (I used only about 1/2-3/4 of the packet.) Next sprinkle desired amount of Tillamook Mozzarella cheese over the crust. (I did a light sprinkling, so I could still see the sauce.) Place the sliced Roma tomatoes evenly around the crust. Sprinkle the desired amount of Spice Islands Sweet Basil over entire pizza. (I did at least 2 light sprinklings around it.)

Bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes. (The crust package said 8-10, but mine needed longer, I ended up going for 15 minutes.)

Once it is finished, let it cool for a minute or two, slice, and enjoy! 

  
*I will be looking into various recipes and will be trying to make my own pizza crust. If I am successful, I will share it.
